Day 1 TLV airport – Jaffa – Caesarea – Haifa – Nazareth or Tiberius
Fly to TLV arriving on the morning flight. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative who
will escort you to your bus and tour guide. Drive to Jaffa and begin your visit to the old port of Jaffa,
the Church of St. Peter and view the old lighthouse, continue north to Caesarea, the Roman city
built by Herod the Great. Visit the old Romanamphitheater and the old port and proceed north to
Haifa where we view the famous picturesque Bahai Gardens, the Stella Maris Church. Drive to
Tiberius or Nazareth and check in to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Caesarea Philipi – Sea of Galilee – Mount Beatitudes – Capernaum – Tabgha – Magdala
Drive to Banias in the Golan Heights to visit one of the sources of the river Jordan and the site
where Jesus told Peter, upon this Rock you will build my Church. Drive down to the Sea of Galilee
and visit the Church of Mount Beatitudes, the site of the sermon on the Mount. Then to
Capernaum, where Jesus taught his disciples and on to Tabgha, the site of the multiplication of the
loaves and fishes. Visit Magdala Church and see the newly excavated ruins of a first century
synagogue. Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Nazareth – Cana – Jericho – Qasr El Yehud – Dead Sea – Jerusalem or Bethlehem
Drive to Nazareth, visit Nazareth Village and experience how life was during Jesus time, then on to
Cana, the site of the First miracle where Jesus turned water into wine at the wedding of Cana.
Drive south via the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the oldest city dating back to 8000 BC. View the
Sycamore Tree where Zacchaeus called to Jesus then visit the Old city walls and view Mount
Temptation (optional take the cable car lift up the mountain to visit the Monastery). Drive to Qasr El
Yehud, where Jesus was baptised and renew your Baptismal vows. On to the Dead Sea and enjoy
a swim in the lowest place on earth where the water is known for its rich minerals. Drive up to
Jerusalem and check in to your hotel in Jerusalem or Bethlehem.
Day 4 Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, Bethlehem
Visit the Mount of Olives, Chapel of Ascension, the Pater Noster Church then walk down to the
Church of Dominus Flevit ״God wept״, walk down the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of
Gethsemane, the site of the Agony of Jesus and the Church of All Nations. Drive to the St. Peter in
Gallicantu, the house of Caiaphas where Jesus was kept in prison. Continue to Bethlehem, visit
the Church of Nativity where Jesus was born and the Manger Square, drive to the Shepherds
Fields in Beit Sahour to visit the site where the Guiding Star appeared to the shepherds and lead
them to the Grotto where Jesus was born. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Old City of Jerusalem – Via Dolorosa -Mount Zion – Western Wall – Abu Gosh —
Departure
Visit the Old City of Jerusalem starting with the Dome of the Rock and Al Aksa Mosque. Then walk
the Via Dolorosa from the First station leading us to the Garden Tomb to visit the Rolling Stone
Tomb. Afternoon visit the Mount Zion, the Upper Room, Cenacle and the Western Wall. Drive to
Abu Gosh and visit the Church of Kiryat Yearim, the site of the Covenant, enjoy an early dinner
before we head to the airport for our evening flight back home. Bon Voyage!
